12-07-08 Dear LTU Students, Yes, this is our final week! We have made it a long way; and only one more challenge-- the Second Micro-Teaching. Please have your final micro-teaching clearly explained using our Written Activity Plan form. You will not need to bring in the peer-assessment and self-assessment forms for I will be the only evaluator for this one. Good Luck! Dear LTU Students,
Well done! We have reached 1/3 of the way through the semester and so far so good. Remember staying well-organized will help you out tremendously, because we still have much more to discover about teaching English and to practice in the remaining 10 weeks. Please do not hesitate to ask questions during class or via email-- there is no such thing as poor question. For next week, remember to read the supplemental article on TPR, www.tpr-world.com/japan-article.html , and to review Unit 2: Listening in your textbooks.
Best wishes,
Prof. Hughes

Dear LTU Students,
Welcome back from Chuseok holiday! We have a lot to cover in the next few weeks; so do your best and try not to become frustrated. I have uploaded the presentation: Language Proficiency & Developmental Needs of Young Learners to our TT page. In addition, please read the ACTFL Proficiency Guidelines for Speaking (link found on TT page) and Unit One in your textbook. Do your best to understand the readings and don't be afraid to bring questions with you to our next class meeting.
Enjoy your weekend,
Prof. Hughes
